The Aleh Negev Rehabilitation Village is a multifaceted center providing young adults with multiple disabilities the opportunity to lead productive lives in a safe environment. IDF Major General (Res) Doron Almog, who had an autistic son, was a major driving force behind the establishment of this innovative facility in the Negev which we will visit.
Throughout the rehabilitative village, Jewish and Arab professionals check their Political views out the door to work together to help Israel’s most severely disabled children reach their fullest potentials.
Major General Almog will accept the 2016 Israel Prize for lifetime achievement and contributions to society and the State at the closing event of Israel’s Independence Day.
