Following the increased tension between Israel and Egypt, Dr. Ofir Winter talked about the reasons for the tensions and their implications. He also expands the conversation to give context around the current situation.
Dr. Ofir Winter is a research fellow at the Institute for National Security Studies (INSS) and lecturer at Tel Aviv University. He authored two books about Israel-Middle East relations and several articles about middle east politics. His doctoral research focused on Lebanon and Egypt’s warming relations with Israel.
