The “Iron Swords” war broke out in the early morning hours of October 7—fifty years and one day from the start of the 1973 Yom Kippur War. The number of Jews killed was the most on one day since the Holocaust and Israelis have witnessed atrocities that they never thought would be repeated. Dec. 12: Human Rights Violations of the Hostages from the October 7th Massacre: A Call for International Action Following ‘Human Rights Day’
The Hostages and Missing Persons Families Forum published a call for international action to stop the human rights violations of the Hostages from the October 7th Massacre.
Prof. Hagai Levine, head of the medical team at the Hostage Families Headquarters, will discuss the important document, following the return of some of the hostages and their testimonies.
Prof. Levine will be joined by three family members of hostages still held captive in Gaza, who will weigh in on the important document, while sharing their personal stories.2
Eylon Keshet, cousin of Yarden Bibas (34) who was kidnapped from Kibbutz Nir Oz, alongside his wife Shiri (32) and their sons, Ariel (4) and Kfir (11 months), the youngest hostage abducted. Yarden was taken hostage by Hamas with an injury to his head.
Eli Shtivi, father of Idan Shtivi (28), who was kidnapped from the Nova party. Idan was taken hostage by Hamas after he was shot.
Sasha Ariev, sister of Karina Ariev (19), who was kidnapped from Nahal Oz.
