Prime Minister Benyamin Netanyahu has until Wednaesday night to form his new government which it is believed will be based on a narrow majority of 61 seats. If he succeeds, the new government will be sworn in on Monday. In the event that PM Netanyahu fails to form a government, then President Reuven Rivlin will have to find another Knesset member whom he would charge with coalition building.
If all efforts fail then the president has the authority to call for new elections.

Prof. Tamar Hermann of the Israel Democracy Institute will expand on the composition of the new government and the challenges ahead for the team of new ministers, the coalition, the opposition and the public they represent.
Ido Benbaji covers politics and the Knesset for Army Radio and will share some of the behind-the-scenes drama of the deal making between Likud and political partners.
