Alarming Findings Show Anti-Semitism is Thriving in Europe and the US

All over Europe, there is concern about an increase in anti-semitism, and deliberation over how to respond, according to Erasmus from the Economist. According to a report from the Israeli Ministry of Diaspora Affairs, 2017 saw a record number of anti-Semitic incidents in Germany, Britain, and France. Britain alone reported a 78% rise in the number of cases of physical violence perpetrated against Jews. The Ministry of Diaspora Affairs released their report on worldwide anti-Semitism ahead of International Holocaust Remembrance Day, which will be marked on Saturday.
The United States of America has also seen anti-semitic incidents spike 86 percent in early 2017, according to the Anti Defamation League.
