Six years after Syria’s civil war began there are over five hundred thousand killed and millions of refugees and internally displaced people. Russia, the Trump administration, and Jordan recently brokered a ceasefire which has deescalated the fighting in recent weeks in three newly established “safe zones” in southwestern Syria.
At the upcoming meeting between Prime Minister Netanyahu and President Putin, Syria is expected to be discussed.
