Jun 02: Spain, Ireland and Norway’s Decision to Recognize a Palestinian State Goes Into Effect Panel with Strategic Advisor and former National Security Council Member, Lianne Pollak-David and Europe-Israel Relations Expert, Azriel Bermant
The governments of Spain, Ireland and Norway last week declared their intent to unilaterally recognize a Palestinian state. The decision takes effect today.
What impact could this move have on the hope for a two-state solution and other peace plans? Could it result in a domino effect and impact the already unstable situation in the Middle East? Could it impact the chances of a hostage deal?
Strategic Advisor and former National Security Council member, Lianne Pollak-David, and transatlantic relations expert, Azriel Bermant, will discuss the issue and its possible consequences
Pollak-David is a strategic advisor. She served on Israel’s negotiation team with the Palestinians and was a consultant for Tony Blair Associates and KPMG London. Pollak-David is also a member of Forum Dvorah.
