A few of the Jewish communities in the disputed territories (Judea & Samaria/the “West Bank”) have been in the news of late, following a number of isolated incidents of vandalism carried out against IDF security forces serving in the area, in response to government orders to demolish unauthorized outposts.
Of course “settlements” continues to be a significant issue for the Palestinians in the stalled talks with Israel. This field tour will provide an in-depth look into three Jewish communities in the territories, meeting with council leaders and residents.
Our tour includes visits to Yitzhar, Ofra, Eli. This is an unusual opportunity to explore the ideology, background and practical elements of these communities, for both new and veteran journalists.
