The Temple Mount (Al Haram Al Sharif) is one of the most sacred sites, holy to Jews and Muslims and a place where religious and political tempers often flare over the issues of control and sovereignty.
The Temple Mount, also called Mount Moriah and revered as the most significant site in Judaism, was the location of the First and Second Jewish Temples.
The Mount is called the “Noble Sanctuary” or “Haram Al Sharif”, is considered the third holiest site in Islam, and was the first qibla (direction of prayer) for Muslims.

Guided tour of the site, on historical and religious aspects of the site
Security briefing by Micky Rosenfeld on recent tensions in the Temple Mount and the Old City.
